Hemiones Hair
Hermione Granger has a distinct ratty head of brown hair that almost seems to have a mind of it's own. There must be some kind of story behind it... well, sort of.
In the Books:
It's been described as extremely bushy and brown. At one point, at the Yule Ball with boyfriend
Viktor Krum, Hermione's hair was made sleek and very becoming by using a special potion. Unfortunately,
the very next morning she admitted to buddies Ron and Harry, "It's way too much to bother with
everyday."
In the Movies:
Though Hermione sports satisfyingly bushy, brown tresses in the first film, she has come to show off a blonde
mane instead over the years. Complete with pretty-looking ringlets, Emma begins to look extraordinary, like
she should at a movie premiere rather than school; it distracts you from her character. (Admit it, Hermione
is more of a Plain Jane.) We're not sure whether it's the lighting of the films or a choice made by WB, but
either way, what a disgrace!
